Obtaining Projects
Our Vice President of Marketing has the responsibility to follow up on all leads and ultimately introduce potential projects to the chapter. The projects must be challenging enough to benefit the membership experience, and financially lucrative enough to reward the chapter. Below is a list of possible sources for project leads:
Conducting Projects
Feasibility Analysis
We conduct a feasibility analysis prior to beginning every project. This analyzes the member benefits, chapter benefits, required resources, and amount of chapter support for the project.
Pre-Project Market Research
When necessary and feasible, we conduct market research to gauge the potential success of a project. This is typically utilized for new sales projects or service events.
Proposal & Contract
After performing the feasibility analysis and/or research, we send a proposal to the client. Upon agreement to this proposal, a contract is signed by the client and the project officially begins.
Application Process & Team Selection
The respective Director will send out a project application to the chapter, in which members can apply to be Project Manager or a team member. In most cases, the team will consist of one project manager and 3-5 team members.
Project Wrap-Up
Upon completion of the project, our Vice President of Finance will invoice the client. Our Director of Client Relations will send a thank-you note, and the VP of Marketing will remain in contact with the client to encourage repeat work.
