Service
We organize 6-8 service events throughout the year to benefit multiple charities and organizations. All of our service events are led by the Vice President of Membership Activities, the Director of Service, and are coordinated on an individual level by a Project Manager. This year, a chapter goal is to raise at least $8,000 in service profit. Past and current events include:
- A Date Auction to raise money for a school for blind children in India
- A Dog Show for the local Animal Adoption Foundation
- A 5K race to donate money to the American Red Cross
- A bowling tournament to benefit a local community member in need
Our Director of Service also organizes several hands-on philanthropic events each semester, in which chapter members are encouraged to participate. Past events have included volunteering at a local animal shelter, senior center, and with Habitat for Humanity.
