Q: Do I have to be a business major to be a member of PSE?
A. No. PSE is designed to give all students practical business and communications experience. Our chapter has members in nearly every major, from Marketing to Graphic Design to Zoology.

Q. When should I try and join PSE?
A. The earlier the better! Employers, as well as current chapter members see early involvement as a sign of initiative. Recruitment is held twice a year at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

Q. What types of leadership opportunities are available in PSE?
A. All members are encouraged to take on leadership roles. The large number of projects that we do each semester enable many members to become project managers and directors.

Q. How large of a time commitment is PSE?
A. PSE is a fairly large time commitment; however, it should never interfere with academic obligations. Be prepared to spend about 2-3 hours at minimum per week committed to PSE.

Q. How will PSE help me get a job?
A. PSE offers professional contacts, a strong alumni base and practical hands-on experience. We are much like a small business with the types of projects we take on with professional clients. These are designed to help students gain insight into what different career paths offer and entail.
